The city within the walls date from the 123 a.C. and it's caracterized by narrow and tortuous alleys, typically medieval, and for the division between the high and low city, divided by the Riera torrent. The oldtown of Palma suffered lesser changes and it's considered the biggest and less transformed of Europe. Big part of the public spaces are from this age, and we can enjoy them nowadays. El Temple, the old jewish neighbour, the Almudaina, the Cathedral, the Born promenade and the patios are a few examples of the inheritance preserved from the culture crossing of Palma.
